Medical conditions that may occur during pregnancy and/ or childbirth such as:
- Ectopic pregnancy
- Retained placenta
- Miscarriage requiring immediate surgical treatment
- Post-partum haemorrhage
- Failure to progress in labour
- Diabetes. If you have any exclusions in relation to diabetes, then you will not be covered for any treatment for diabetes during pregnancy.
